⚫Plantain⚫
• Identify- broadleaf-broad oval shaped smooth leaves with parallel veins, long thin cone like flower shoots
- narrowleaf- narrow lance shaped leaves with 3-5 parallel veins, shorter and tighter flower shoot
- both used interchangeably but broadleaf has a milder flavor
• Properties- anti-inflammatory, promotes wound healing, digestive support, oral health
• Uses-
• young leaves can be eaten fresh or used in tea (larger, older leaves get bitter) for digestive support. Mild natural laxative as they contain psyllium. Can also sooth pain caused by ulcers by soothing mebranes with its high concentration of mucilage.
• infuse leaves in oil or use fresh as a poultice for soothing skin irritation and drawing out toxins. Great for bee stings, big bites, poison ivy, rashes.
• gargle tea for toothaches, gingivitis, or mouth sores
*I am not a doctor. Please do your own research before using or ingesting foraged plants.*

Dont miss this one April 1 st 2026!
Coping with racing thoughts is something many people experience, yet it can often feel confusing, overwhelming, or isolating. We might find ourselves wondering, “Why do we think this way?” or “Why can’t we stop thinking? “Only to be met with even more thoughts.
This week’s session is focused on coping with the “racing mind.” Together, we’ll explore:
✔️ Why our brains think the way they do
✔️ Common thinking patterns that can lead to distress
✔️ Practical ways to respond to and cope with difficult thoughts
sessions are open, welcoming spaces to learn more about mental health and access helpful resources. We hope you’ll leave feeling more supported, understood, and empowered.
