I've been making soap for BISCo since 2018 and I've made thousands of bars at this point.

Every single bar turns out different.

But these bars for this limited edition holiday run are my absolute favourite - no question. 👍💪

More pottery (in-process) fun! This is my crow mug 🐦‍⬛

I have a thing about crows so when deciding what to do after my tiger planter (see final pic for him after his final firing!) I knew a crow was next!

I'm doing a technique called on this one. That's where you paint on the underglaze and then scrape it off in patterns to reveal the clay underneath.

I've done his tail so far and his cheeks and part of his wings. The body will be next but not too much as I don't want the effect to be too "messy".

I'll post pics when he's done and fired!

I've been pretty quiet on here lately, I know! Many of you have asked me what I'm up to...

I've been learning how to do pottery! 🤲

I'm slow and definitely still a learner but I'm getting there for sure and, it turn out, I LOVE it. 🤗

Pic 1&2: A hand built tiger planter. This took me a while as it's the first hand built thing I've made so I had to teach myself the techniques.

I'm pretty pleased with it. We'll see how it turns out with its final firing.

✌️The last 2 pics are works in progress.

Pic 3: A hand built crow mug in progress started last week.

Pic 4: A thrown mug with ergonomic handle started today. I've got to carve down the handle to shape it yet it won't be such a fatty when I'm done! 🥐

I'm going to paint this one and then have a fun surprise on it too. You'll have to wait and and see what that is. 👀

I'm also planning some plates and maybe even some soap dishes!
