Just a little update

My schedule has changed going forward so that my opening hours will be the same daily, at least until the spring

The first appointment will be at 8:30 and the last of the day at 4:30

I pride myself on being an understanding and thoughtful small business owner, and try to be as accommodating as I can with my bookings when my clients are in need. For example, funeral to attend, short notice job interview, etc

It now seems that I have become so accommodating that a few aren’t even looking at my booking page, and instead are messaging me, asking me to put them in at the end of my workday (essentially asking me to work beyond my regular hours) or they will book for a time they KNOW they won’t be able to make, and message me in the morning, asking me to stay late

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t mind this happening from time to time, but when it’s every time, it’s just not fair to me

*Asking me to get you in if I have a cancellation is always welcome*

I’m not sure what the answer to this is and how to address this problem without looking like a big ol meanie 🤔 Open to suggestions please 🙏🏼

I opened up the shop today and fully expected that at least a few that were booked in would send me a message, confirming that I would indeed be OPEN on the holiday Monday

To my surprise NOT A SINGLE PERSON reached out!

Everyone said they were shocked that I was open and at the same time, knew that if the booking went thru, I would be there
