Hi friends, this is way overdue — finally the face behind Makeup by Zaniffa! Let me introduce myself.

My name is Zaniffa Finlayson. I was born and raised in Trinidad 🇹🇹 and have been living in Canada for many years.

Makeup has always been a dream of mine. Growing up, I knew I wanted to become a makeup artist, and in my 30s I finally decided to follow my heart and pursue makeup artistry. I earned my diploma from George Brown College and haven’t looked back since.

To me, makeup is about enhancing your features, not changing the way you look.
I focus on soft, timeless glam that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and still you ✨

One thing my brides and clients often tell me is how comfortable they feel in my chair — good vibes, good energy, and lots of laughs always included.

A few fun facts about me:
• When I’m not working, you’ll find me at bootcamp or the gym
• I love to cook
• I’m a proud grandma to two amazing boys 💙💙
• Travel + quality time with friends and family = my happy place
