I’ve been doing lashes extensions for Danica now for a few years and recently we had to take them off so she could do her practicum. Her lashes were still gorgeous and healthy (as they should be) after her years of lash extensions. We opted to go with a Korean Lash Lift instead.

A day in the life: Masterclass edition!

Yesterday I attended the & masterclass in Regina. It was so much fun, so informative & inspiring.

Maddie showed us her signature bridal beat and I literally can’t wait for bridal season to start to test out her tips & techniques.

Kendal demonstrated her red carpet glam look utilizing underpainting techniques. Truly so artist and I can’t wait to try.

The goodies bags were phenomenal as usual with a Kendal masterclass! I can’t wait to bring these elevated techniques to my clients and truly give you the best of the best. 🤍

Dark Undereyes? Let me share some tips with you!

👏🏼MOISTURIZE - Your undereye skin is delicate and so often I see people skipping their creams in that area because they think it will contribute to creasing. It’s the opposite! Just like the rest of our skin we need our undereyes to be hydrated to be ready for a makeup application.

👏🏼COLOR CORRECT - Concealing an undereye is so much more than just slapping on a thick layer of concealer. Color correction is what cancels out the purple/blue toned hues in that area. Choosing a peach or pink corrector will neutralize those tones.

👏🏼CONCEALER - Choose a medium coverage concealer that you can apply in thin layers using a patting lotion. Continue looking upwards while you are dispersing this product where you want it to avoid creasing.

👏🏼BAKE - Once you’re happy with the coverage using a pink or peach loose powder you can lightly bake the undereye area. This provides a super long wear finish. For my more mature skin I typically dust this on with a brush versus a full bake using a powder puff!

👏🏼SETTING SPRAY - Finish your look with a long wear setting spray & voila!
