This past week, we had the honour of attending the Health First Annual General Meeting in beautiful Whistler, BC.

For those who may not know, this event brings together stores from across Canada in the Health First family to learn, connect, celebrate, and share in the work we all do within our communities.

We have always been a little hesitant to share our accomplishments on social media. Not because we are not proud, but because we never want it to come across as bragging. But recently, some of our wonderful customers reminded us that you actually want to hear these things. You want to celebrate with us because you are part of the story too.

So, here we go.

This year, Hedley’s Health Hut received one of the most prestigious awards within the Health First network: the Oliver Award.

This award recognizes sales, growth, engagement, support of the Health First brand, and overall commitment to the values we all share. And while we are proud to say we have been honoured for sales in past years, receiving the Oliver Award is a first for us and it means so much.

We know that can sound cliché, but in this case, it is completely true. This award exists because of our customers. Because you continue to walk through our doors. Because you choose local. Because you trust us to be part of your health and wellness journey. Because you ask questions, share your stories, support our team, and allow us to keep growing.

So, this is not just our award.

It is OUR award.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Accepting this recognition on behalf of our store, our team, and our customers was a huge honour. It has inspired us even more to continue building, supporting, and serving our Brandon and area family.
