I’m Brooklyn — founder of BKLYN SKN and an esthetician at Alyza Beauty Collective.

I’m a young Indigenous woman, born and raised in The Pas / Opaskwayak Cree Nation. From a young age, I knew I wanted more — not in a material way, but in purpose. I wanted to build something meaningful and inspire other young women to believe in what’s possible for them too.

In September 2024, I moved to Brandon to pursue advanced esthetics. I graduated from H&CO Academy in August 2025, driven by a vision that went far beyond the beauty industry.

For a long time, I carried more than I showed. I navigated anxiety, emotional burnout, and seasons of feeling disconnected from myself — all while continuing to show up for everyone else before learning how to truly show up for me.

Before I had everything figured out, I became a young mom.
That chapter changed everything. It taught me responsibility, strength, and the importance of building a life rooted in intention — not just for myself, but for my daughter.

The esthetics industry became my turning point.
It gave me structure, confidence, and something solid to hold onto when my mental health needed grounding.

BKLYN SKN was born from that place.
A place of rebuilding, self-worth, and choosing yourself — even when life feels heavy.

This brand isn’t about perfection.
It’s about healing, confidence, and learning to take up space — one appointment at a time.
