A common question I often receive is, “Can I continue my skincare routine after receiving a Botox treatment?”

The simple answer is yes, but it’s essential to navigate post-treatment care with care and consideration.. 👇🏻

While you can certainly maintain your skincare routine after Botox, there are a few key products and ingredients to avoid for a certain period following your treatment.

These include:
🚫 Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Steer clear of products containing harsh chemicals or active ingredients such as retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment.

🚫 Minimize Exfoliation: Skip abrasive exfoliants, scrubs, and aggressive facial treatments for the first few days to prevent irritation and ensure optimal healing.

🚫 Limit Sun Exposure: While sunscreen is a must in your skincare routine, excessive sun exposure should be avoided immediately after Botox treatment. Opt for broad-spectrum SPF protection and wear a hat or seek shade when outdoors.

By following these simple guidelines, you can ensure that your post-Botox skincare routine supports the healing process and maximizes the longevity of your results.
