It's hard to believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve. This year has flown by so fast hasn't it? 2025 has had many challenges in our personal lives as well as our business, especially the crafting world with the economy being so expensive. Yet, we crafters are so very thankful and grateful for our customers who have supported our business and helped us grow in these difficult times.
I had the pleasure of seeing and chatting with repeat customers as well as many new customers that are shopping local and supporting small businesses. I am thankful to have those talented friends and family members who joined me in our annual Stop n Shops this year.
I am looking forward to after the holidays when I can dirty those soap pots again and get to making lots and lots of soap! But until then, I want to wish all my customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I wish you all peace, love and laughter and a good sized cup of spiced egg nog! Much ❤️

Do you make antibacterial soap?

Well, cold process soap isn’t a medicated “antibacterial” soap like the kind you see in commercials. However, it’s still very effective at cleaning. Soap works by lifting dirt, oils, and germs from your skin so they can be rinsed away with water.

Cold process soap has a naturally high pH, which creates an environment that bacteria does not like. The natural oils in the soap, along with some essential oils, can also help inhibit bacterial growth.

So while it’s not labeled as "antibacterial", regular cold process soap does a great job of cleaning and reducing germs—just like those “99% effective” products you see advertised 😉
