There are definitely two very different sides to me when it comes to makeup.

I love all things pretty, feminine and angelic, but I also love creating the creepiest s**t possible. There really is no in between with me.

I think most of us are like that in some way. We have different sides to our personalities, different interests and different things that bring us to life. We don’t have to fit into one little box just because that’s what people expect from us.

Both of these looks were done on myself, with two completely different concepts and photographers.

This weekends bridal party was one for the books. These beautiful ladies came all the way from Australia. (Because the husband is from here)

What was extra special though was talking with the bride Mandy about how her brother who recently passed had an eagle tattoo on his shoulder. She shared that she had this feeling that an eagle would fly over at the ceremony. But it was even better.

Right before I took this photo, an eagle was in the woods 15 feet away from the bride...sitting there watching us all. It was truly a magical moment for everyone. And I definitely held back tears. See the second photo.

I absolutely love that I get to be a part of these moments and make international connections with amazing humans. I'm thankful that I put in the work so that I can do what I love to do fulltime. ❤️

Funny story... This weekend I was the surprise for Hallie's wedding day. 🤩

Her sister Krystal, a previous client of mine, booked me for the day. But I didnt know until I showed up, that she had no idea she was getting pampered by me on her wedding day.

It was a surprise for both of us.

Most of the bridal party doesn't wear makeup. So they wanted natural, soft makeup and they all ate it all up.

The energy in that room that morning was amazing. So much love, fun, encouragement and ease in the day. I'm always thankful that I get to be a part of that special memory in people's lives.

🎪 MODEL CALL – TFP COLLABORATION 🎪

I'm looking to put together a creative clown inspired photoshoot at the Bridgewater Exhibition this year and am searching for a photographer and two models who would love to collaborate on a fun, slightly dark, cinematic concept.

Looking for:
• A photographer with a moody/dark editorial style
• Two models (I have a mother/daughter concept in mind, but you do not need to be an actual mother and daughter)

I do have a particular look and vision in mind for this concept, and preference will be given to experienced models whose look best fits the creative direction.

Potential shoot dates: July 30th or 31st (weather dependent) in Bridgewater, NS

Timing:
• Models would need to be available in the afternoon/evening for makeup application at my home studio (just outside Bridgewater)
• Photography would take place during golden hour into dusk for the best atmosphere and lighting

A few details:
• This is a TFP (trade for photos) collaboration and is not a paid opportunity
• Participants will be responsible for their own admission to the exhibition grounds
• Makeup artistry, creative direction, and concept design will be provided by me
• Models will receive edited images for their portfolio and social media
• The photographer will have the opportunity to collaborate with a 3-time cover holder and internationally published makeup artist while expanding their creative portfolio
