Tickets are now available for this years Atlantic menopause show in November - This should be an amazing day packed full of information. I was on a training course last year and unable to go - but I’m looking forward to attending this year. Apparently tickets sold out quickly last year so grab them while you can!

As a Lymphedema Therapist, I know that compression garments are not a luxury, they are an essential part of treatment and long-term management. Unfortunately, they can also be a significant financial burden.

The Lymphedema Association of Nova Scotia (LANS) has launched a 2026 Compression Garment Funding Pilot Program to help Nova Scotians who need medically necessary compression garments but face financial barriers to obtaining them.
Eligible applicants may receive up to $400 toward the cost of their garments, with funding available for a minimum of 25 applicants.

This will be our last community acupuncture session (likely) until Fall. We haven't found any volunteers to take over this role and many of you know I will be on a short Mat leave until roughly early November.

All of the donations go to supplementing the Book bag drive donations 📚 🎒 !

We will still have the community book bag drive and free school shopping day for local families in August. I will probably not be in optimal condition to do this alone then and would appreciate volunteers to help set up the donated items. It is only one day a year for a few hours but our community counts on us to make it happen ❤️

I want to thank Maria and Tammy for helping provide beautiful therapeutic sessions and want to thank everyone for community support. 😊
