As we move toward the end of 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what this year represented for me, my team, and Truelove Beauty Studio.

This year carried two milestones that still feel surreal:
• June 5, 2025 — celebrating 5 years since I opened the studio doors.
• September 13, 2025 — my birthday, and exactly 20 years earlier on this date, I began my journey in this industry.

The timing feels symbolic. Two decades of building connections behind the chair… and half a decade of building a space that represents everything I believe in: community, creativity, trust, and genuine care.

And even though I run this business day-to-day as a one-woman show, I’m far from alone. I’m grateful for the incredible people who stand beside me — my current team who brings their energy into the studio, supports the vision, and helps keep this place thriving. I wouldn’t be celebrating these milestones without them.

What I’ve learned over 20 years is simple: this work has never been just about hair. It’s about the conversations, the confidence, the relationships, and the community that grows around a chair. This studio is built on that foundation — consistency, resilience, and a genuine love for the people who walk through our door.

The last five years have tested every small business owner I know, and yet here we are — growing, adapting, evolving, and still inspired by what’s next.

I’m stepping into the coming year ready to share more of the story, more of the expertise, and more of what makes this studio special.
