My father thought Sophia Loren was a very beautiful woman. His opinion means a lot to me, especially that he’s been gone for years now. I miss my Dad so much. Of course my mother, being beautiful herself was the most important woman in my Dad’s life. He had so much respect for women and this is something I have always valued from him. I love this quote by

Happy Saturday! I live for the weekends. I hope you are enjoying fall. Winter will be here soon. I’m going to try my best to do some outdoor activities this winter. Maybe some cross country skying. Hopefully Santa will be good to me this year 😊

I have that familiar longing to start painting again. 🎨 I will always be an artist. Years ago I was painting portraits and other subject matter that wasn’t necessarily personal to what I wanted to paint. I really need to express things that are soulful. As an artist I can only hope that I touch someone profoundly with my art.

It’s harvesting time! I love the fresh vegetables from the garden. This is 1 day’s picking. I ended up getting a fungus on my tomatoe plants with all the rain we’ve been getting. Thankfully I still got a good amount of small tomatoes that are ripening quickly.

Went berry picking today I was surprised I was still able to get strawberries. So yummy! #
