“Jelly Roll” under the eyes 👀
(aka hypertrophic orbicularis oculi muscle)

Ever notice that little roll or bulge that appears under the eye when you smile?

For some people, this isn’t fat or filler … it’s actually muscle.

The orbicularis oculi is the muscle that wraps around the eye and helps us blink and smile. In certain individuals, this muscle is stronger or thicker (hypertrophic), which can create that soft “jelly roll” appearance when animating.

✨ Why does it happen?

• Genetics =some people naturally have a fuller muscle
• Strong smile / expressive eyes
• Muscle overactivity with animation
• Not related to under-eye filler or fat pads

💉 How Botox helps:

Strategic micro-dosing of neuromodulator can gently relax the hypertrophic portion of the muscle.

We also strategically treated the brows for balance and lift… because the eye area should always be assessed as a whole.

No filler. No added volume. Just muscle balance.
