One of the first questions I hear when discussing a skin treatment is: “How much downtime will I have?”

The answer depends on the treatment—and on how much correction you’re looking for.

Some patients want a treatment they can fit into a busy week, while others are comfortable planning a few days of recovery for a more corrective approach.

You may experience temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness or visible skin changes while the skin renews. These treatments can offer a little more correction while still fitting into your lifestyle.

When we're targeting more advanced concerns such as skin laxity, deeper texture, sun damage or more noticeable signs of aging, additional recovery may be part of the treatment plan.
