If there’s one person who has trusted me the most over the years - it’s my cousin & longest-standing muse 🤍

We’ve genuinely done everything. Long, short, blonde, beige blonde, copper, cowboy copper, red, auburn, rose gold, pink, mahogany, chocolate brown, ashy brown, grey, lavender, lilac, purple, white - and everything in between. 🌈

There have been peekaboo underlights, money pieces, tone-on-tone balayage, dimensional brunettes… and more colour changes than either of us could count. Half the time she just tells me to do whatever I want and honestly? That’s the greatest gift as a hairstylist 😭🤍

She’s been my creative playground, my portfolio, and living proof that healthy hair can handle a lot when it’s cared for properly.

Consider this my very public petition for her to let me get creative again soon 😂😋

Starting to notice that the couple of grey hairs you’ve had for a while have somehow multiplied overnight? But you’re not quite ready to commit to a root colour every 3–5 weeks to feel good about your hair again 😓

Grey blending has been one of my most requested services lately - especially for clients in their 30s and 40s who are starting to see more grey come through and want a solution that actually works with their lifestyle.

The version I’ve been loving is a combination of highlights and lowlights. The highlights can be as bright and light as you’d like, or kept really soft and subtle - totally based on your preference. I typically match a lowlight to my client’s natural colour, and sometimes add one with a little warmth if that’s the vibe they’re going for. The result is a seamless, dimensional colour that works with your greys rather than against them, and grows out so naturally that you won’t feel that urgency to get back in the chair.

What makes grey blending so different from permanent colour:
~ Maintenance appointments every 3–6 months
~ Grows out soft and seamlessly - no harsh lines
~ Low commitment and easy to adjust by season
~ A beautiful first step into colour if you’ve never coloured before
~ Your greys are thoughtfully blended, not something you’re rushing to cover

Swipe to see what this looks like 6 months post-appointment - because the grow-out is honestly the whole point 🤍

Booking link is in my bio if you’d like to chat about whether this is a good fit for you!

Spring is slowly starting to show up… which usually means blonde season is right around the corner ✨

This was a blonde highlight refresh focused on creating a bright, blended, high-impact blonde while still keeping dimension throughout.

While I love a lived-in colour moment, sometimes you just want to be super blonde!!

Sandy beige balayage ✨

This photo is from three years ago (hence the old Oakville location in the background), but one thing hasn’t really changed - lived-in colour never goes out of style.

Clients often ask about the newest hair trends, and while some come and go each season, there are techniques that stay consistent because they truly work. Blended balayage is one of them. It lasts, it grows out softly, it’s low-maintenance, and it stays beautiful long after your appointment. If you ask me, that’s what makes it timeless 🤍

Soft, sandy, and beachy in the best way ✨
A little reset heading into spring (whenever she decides to join us) 🌸🌼

We went with a partial (half) head of balayage / teasy lights, focusing on brightness through the top and face frame, with a small touch-up underneath for consistency. I added a few lowlights to maintain dimension and depth, then finished with a root smudge to soften everything and help the colour grow out beautifully over time.

Everything was toned with a neutral beige to keep it bright & creamy, while removing any unwanted brass.

Brighter & blended, but still low-maintenance 🪩✨

Megan comes in regularly for her root colour, and over time we’ve been adding little pops of brightness. This visit, we decided to really go for it with a full head of highlights - keeping her root colour in between and finishing everything with a soft root smudge & toner.

The result is brighter overall, but still dimensional and easy to maintain, so we can continue with her regular root touch-ups as it grows out. Megan doesn’t mind a bit of warmth, so we kept things mostly neutral and balanced this time.

We can always go lighter in future sessions, but this feels like a really beautiful step toward lighter, summer hair 🤍

Coppers have been everywhere for the past few years, but a rich mahogany red will forever be one of my favourites 🤩

I’m truly convinced there’s a shade of red hair for everyone - whether that’s copper, a vibrant red, auburn, or a deeper mahogany. It’s all about finding the tone that works with your skin tone & lifestyle.

If you’ve been thinking about going red, this might be your sign ♥️🌹

The blonder, obviously the better 😋🤩

It had been a while since this new client had her hair done and she was looking to be as bright as possible! ✨ We decided to keep her root slightly softened so that it can grow out more seamlessly. She also wanted to her toner to feel neutral & bright, nothing too cool and nothing too warm. I’m absolutely loving the move away from only cool blondes 24/7 (but still love a good ice queen, don’t get it twisted). Your tone should always complement YOU & YOUR colouring! 🥰
