Cold-pressed from the nut of the American palm tree (Elaeis oleifera), batana has been used for generations by the Miskito and Tawira people of La Moskitia, Honduras.

They call it "the oil that makes hair grow." Western haircare is just catching up.

The Science :
Rich in oleic acid, linoleic acid, vitamin E, and carotenoids. The fatty acid profile allows batana to pe*****te the hair shaft rather than just coat it, which is why it conditions from the inside out.

What it does:
Reduces breakage by reinforcing the hair shaft.
Conditions the scalp.

Smooths the cuticle for visible shine.
Helps curls hold their pattern.
Softens without weighing hair down.
Helps preserve color and pigment over time.

Curly, coily, textured hair (3A through 4C).

Worth knowing:
Very fine or oil-prone hair may prefer something lighter like our Jojoba Oil. Anyone expecting overnight results, real change takes 4-6 weeks of consistent use.

How to use it:
Warm a pea-to-quarter-sized amount between your palms until it melts.

For daily softness, work through damp hair from mid-length to ends.

For scalp care, massage into dry scalp 2-3 times a week. For deep recovery, apply generously, wrap with a satin bonnet, and leave overnight.
