A return to myself .✨ Emotional Body Map ✨

Our bodies often speak long before our minds understand.

Sometimes tension in the shoulders may appear during periods of responsibility and pressure.
Sometimes the jaw tightens when words remain unspoken.
Sometimes the chest feels heavy during grief, loss, or heartbreak.

This isn’t about diagnosis.
It’s about awareness.

The body is constantly communicating with us through sensations, tension, fatigue, ease, and relief.

What if instead of fighting your body, you became curious about it?

🌿 What is my body trying to tell me?
🌿 Where am I holding tension?
🌿 What emotion might be asking for attention, compassion, or expression?

Healing doesn’t always begin with fixing.

Sometimes it begins with listening.

Today, take a slow breath.
Place your hand on the area of your body asking for your attention.
Offer yourself the same kindness you would offer someone you love.

You are not broken.
You are communicating. Your body is not working against you.
It may simply be asking to be heard.

With love,
Trima Wellness 💖

Overflowing with gratitude watching Tristan walk across that stage and be recognized not once, not twice, but three times—including nominations for Athlete of the Year and the Excellence Award—was a moment I will never forget.

As mothers, we spend years cheering from the sidelines, driving to practices, showing up for games, drying tears after disappointments, celebrating victories, and loving our children fearlessly through every season of growth.

The world sees the awards, the accomplishments, and the recognition. A mother sees the early mornings, the sacrifices, the perseverance, the setbacks, and the countless moments that shaped the person standing before her.

Tonight, seeing your hard work, dedication, character, and commitment recognized by others filled my heart with joy.

Tristan, you have taught me that true success is not measured by awards, but by the kind of person you become along the way. Your determination, kindness, resilience, and integrity make me grateful every day to be your mother.

No matter where life takes you, know this:

You will always have my unwavering support throughout your life journey
Congratulations, my son. This is only the beginning. ❤️ ProudMom

The goal is not forcing the body.
The goal is helping the body feel safe enough to regulate. Uterine fibroids are medically influenced by hormones, genetics, inflammation, and metabolic health — yet many women experiencing fibroids have also lived through prolonged stress, emotional overload, and years of living in survival mode.

The nervous system, hormones, inflammation, and emotional wellbeing are deeply interconnected. 🌿

This does NOT mean emotions “cause” fibroids or that women are to blame.
It means the body deserves to be viewed with compassion and wholeness.

Many women benefit from combining medical support with nervous system regulation, rest, emotional processing, anti-inflammatory lifestyle support, bodywork, and gentle self-care practices. ✨

The womb often carries more than biology alone.
Sometimes it carries years of unspoken tension, grief, overgiving, and exhaustion.

Healing starts when women feel safe enough to soften. 🤍

Today my heart is filled with gratitude and emotion as I witness my son graduating 🌹✨

Life moves so quickly… and through every challenge, every lesson, every moment of growth, I have watched a young man rise with strength, resilience, and heart.

This moment is not only about achievement — it is about becoming.
A reminder that love, perseverance, and inner strength always bloom in their own time. 🌿

To all the educators, mentors, and beautiful souls who helped guide these young men and women along the way — thank you deeply for your care, dedication, and patience.

And to my son…
May life lead you toward peace, purpose, wisdom, and joy.
Always remember who you are. 💖

6 LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE BENEFITS

Massage is known for its stress-relieving, knot-releasing benefits – but what if we told you it can break down fat, smooth cellulite, and give your skin a glow as well?
We’re not just talking about any massage treatment; it’s Lymphatic Drainage Massage, designed to detoxify your body with just the right combination of techniques and level of pressure.

Here we reveal exactly how it works, the rewards of a regular massage, and how you can get started on your own lymphatic drainage journey. This is what you need to know…

What does a lymphatic drainage massage do?

First, it’s important to understand how the lymphatic system works. It’s your body’s built-in detoxifier, working hard to get rid of ‘waste’, such as bacteria and excess fluid. Sometimes the system needs a little extra help to effectively cleanse your body of unwanted toxins. The goal of a lymphatic drainage massage is to give it a ‘reboot’, so it can work more efficiently.

The massage consists of precise, skilful gestures that sweep stagnant ‘waste’ towards the lymph nodes, which makes it easier for your body to eliminate the toxins – and fast. This also isn’t like your usual massage, which works to loosen knots and tension; it combines light pressure with a specific set of motions to unlock tangible body benefits.

So, what are the benefits of lymphatic drainage massage?

1. Debloats and depuffs

Fluid retention can happen to us all. Whether around your belly or your legs, ‘water weight’ can result in puffiness and bloating that your lymphatic system may need help to clear. A lymphatic drainage massage helps to ease all that fluid away, pushing it towards the lymph nodes where it can be eliminated. This is one of many reasons you may leave your treatment feeling lighter and more energised. If you suffer with heavy legs, this is a big benefit.

2. Breaks down cellulite and fat cells

Your practitioner can target cellulite during your lymphatic drainage massage, using a clever technique that, over time, may contribute to the smoothing of dimpled skin. This manual process also aims to break down fat cells, with some people reporting that it’s helped them to lose weight faster.

3. Gives skin a glow

Massaged skin often glows because the manual gestures give your blood circulation a boost, but we haven’t just seen boosted radiance on limbs, legs and decolletage. Some of our lymphatic drainage clients notice the skin on their face also looks more luminous – again, as a result of stimulated blood flow.

4. Helps with post-injury swelling

When you have an injury – say from working out hard in the gym – you might find the area doesn’t circulate fluids as well, which causes extra swelling. Excess puffiness may be a sign that your lymphatic system isn’t working quite as it should, so a lymphatic drainage massage could be needed to help drain some of the swelling away.

5. Optimises results after liposuction

If you’ve undergone liposuction or a body-sculpting treatment (such as CoolSculpting or EMSculpt Neo), booking in for MLD post-procedure can help to enhance the contoured results. In many cases, you can visit soon after your procedure.

6. Eases tension in the body

Last but not least, a lymphatic drainage massage can be truly relaxing. The sweeping gestures and the increase of lymph flow often works wonders at easing tension throughout your body. So, if you’re feeling pent-up, you can lie back and allow your practitioner to ease away stresses, all while receiving the benefits above.
