The "Everything" Artist: If they offer eyebrows, lashes, nails, and "also SMP," they haven't mastered the specific science of scalp skin.

The Guest Spot: An artist flying in for one day has no way to perform the 3–4 sessions required for a natural result, and they won't be there when you need a follow-up.

The "Single Session" Promise: Realism is built through layering. Anyone promising a finished look in one day is going to give you a flat, unnatural "helmet" look.

The Eyebrow Specialist: If their portfolio is 90% eyebrows and 10% scalps, you are the practice client. Scalp skin is thicker and oilier; it requires a totally different needle and depth.

Standard Equipment: Using the same machine or needles for eyebrows and scalps is a recipe for disaster. SMP requires ultra-fine micro-needles to mimic a follicle, not a hair stroke.
