Born and raised in a small countryside in Hue City, Vietnam, I have always taken pride in academic excellence and personal growth. Throughout my 10 years of schooling, I actively participated in show choirs while maintaining strong academic performance.

In Grade 9, I was honored to serve as the School Youth Union Leader, an experience that strengthened my leadership, organization, and communication skills. At international high school, I continued to excel academically and was recognized as an Outstanding Student, receiving a scholarship for my achievements.

In 2013, my family and I immigrated to Canada. Adapting to a new environment, language, and culture presented many challenges, but it also taught me resilience and independence. During high school, I balanced my studies with multiple part-time jobs to cover living expenses—from working as a restaurant server to cashier at Edo Japan and A&W. Despite the hardship, I viewed these experiences as valuable lessons in perseverance, communication, and personal growth.

After graduation, I pursued a major in Accounting while helping manage my family’s nail salon. Since the salon was located nearly 1hr30 from the city, I commuted weekly while maintaining my studies. Balancing work and study required dedication and time management, and before completing my degree, I made the difficult decision to pause my studies to assist my family full-time. Fortunately, the business was successfully sold just before the COVID-19 pandemic began.

During the pandemic, I earned certifications as an Eyelash and Skin Specialist, followed by advanced training in Permanent Makeup. In 2021, I opened my own salon, managed independently—from operations to performing nail, eyelash, skincare, and permanent makeup services. However, the heavy workload and life pressures eventually led to burnout and depression. Ultimately, I made another tough but necessary decision — to sell my business and take time to regain balance in my life.

Today, I continue my professional journey as an Entrepreneur specializing in Eyelash Extensions and Permanent Makeup, working with passion, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
