Vibrant Visions Artistry My name is Jordan and I started my makeup journey in 2011, when I went to school at Blanche Macdonald Center in Vancouver, BC. In 2020, I rebranded and became Vibrant Visions Artistry. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, I have had the joy of dabbling in many different kinds of makeup....

Working on stage performances, I have learned that what you think looks bold and beautiful in person may need to be amped up quite a bit for the stage. With lighting and making sure the audience can read the makeup from close and from far away is super important. Understanding how makeup can change with distance is key to building your look.

For example, this makeup I did was for two different days. One was for the run through and one for the actual performance. On the run through I did a soft, beautiful blend with complimentary colors, all in all I was super happy with it, but when she got on stage, it barely looked like she had makeup on. So for the rest of the shows I boosted the colour and made everything more bold and obvious while still keeping it pretty!

The best part about my job is working with some of the most multi-talented people. Men and women alike.

When working on stage makeup it's important to do everyone's makeup including the men! Bringing out their features, enhancing their expressions or even giving their facial hair more colour!

My last look at RAW was my girl Luna! She is a real gem and I'm lucky to get to use her beautiful face as a canvas on the regular!

Then there is this bombshell, I've been hanging on to these photos for tooo long. The world needs to see what the woman did for me ❤️

One thing about makeup is lighting makes a massive difference in how it looks end results. Even though I did a practice run the look was a lot lighter and more pink than I had originally created. But I was in a completely dark room with only my ring light for light. I love the look regardless
