Hair extensions are a lot like cars, they can be budget-friendly or luxury. It all depends on what you’re looking for, your natural hair structure, and your final goal.
No matter which type of hair I offer, I always choose the best quality available in that category. Because even in different price levels, quality still matters.
Another thing people don’t always realize is that natural hair always has short hairs. Baby hairs, flyaways - call them what you want. That’s simply how our hair grows because every strand is in a different growth cycle.
When people donate or sell their hair, those short hairs are still in the bundle. Many suppliers leave them in because they add extra weight, which increases the price but they don’t improve the final result.
In my studio, I also work as a hair supplier, and I sell what I call clear weight hair. That means you only pay for the hair that will actually be installed and will create a beautiful result. All the short hairs are brushed out at my own expense, because my goal is simple to offer the best possible hair quality to my clients🤍

We reused leftover extensions from past sets and created a completely new mix: dark brown, platinum blonde, and sun-kissed blonde, blended together for a soft, natural look. A professional hair colorist added subtle lowlights to bring everything to life and add depth.

Backstory❤️

This client originally came to me for a hair extension consultation.
Cutting the matted hair and starting fresh with extensions would have meant a yearly investment of approximately $6,000.

But before that, they had already been to three different salons, spent $1,500, and left without a solution, only more damage and less trust.

When they came to me, I saw something else. I saw that the hair might still be saved.

I was honest about the risk. I was hopeful, but also cautious.
I kept asking myself why others couldn’t finish it and whether I truly could.

Still, I trusted my knowledge and experience with fine, fragile hair.

We worked slowly. Carefully.
Over two days and 8.5 hours, with help from another stylist who believed in the process as much as I did, we moved forward step by step.

There was shedding. There was discomfort. There were moments of doubt. But there was also progress.

After dematting, we focused on restoring cleansing treatments, deep hydration, a careful trim, and gentle styling.

No bald spots. No alopecia. Just hair that needed patience and proper care.

I did charge for the work but far less than extensions would have cost. Because sometimes the right solution isn’t the most profitable one.

I’m sharing this not to impress, but to remind:
Knowledge matters. Patience matters and care should always come first.
