GROWTH// I started the Dare to Lead course today, a course about daring leadership based on the work of Brené Brown. Are you a fan of hers? While I’ve know about her for a long while, it’s only recently that I’ve started to pay more attention and get curious about her work and how I can grow and learn from it. And it’s powerful stuff.
Excited to dive into this material over the next 8 weeks and beyond. It’s gonna be uncomfortable and I’ll probably (definitely) want to crawl into a safe space as I uncover more about my own vulnerability and courage barriers. But I’m committed and the only way to truly grow is to, as Brené says “embrace the suck”. So (gulp) let the journey begin...

ORGANIZING//
It’s fair to say that spending so much extra time in our own homes this year has made organizing, de-cluttering, renovating + designing top of mind for many of us.
So combine our recent international move + brand new home + lifelong interest in design and organizing = a clean slate to play with! 🤩
This tucked away pantry we designed with our builder is an absolute dream. Flanked by lots of functional storage on either side and below, these shelves are a super fun canvas for both display + function. Loving the ROYGBIV 🌈 organizing method by - I think it just makes the space! They also inspired me to label everything and buy even more containers than I already had. Now onto the next room...the office. Stay tuned!

Yep, I’m one if those people who loves their birthday. Even in the years when it fell on the first day of school growing up. Even now when I can feel the age and plenty of greys setting in, I still look forward to Aug 31 with great joy and excitement. Mostly because I end up connecting with so many people who I don’t talk to often, yet hold a special place in my heart.
If this year has taught us anything, it is to embrace the moment and be extra grateful for what and who we have in our lives. You never know what tomorrow will bring.
So I’m grateful to all of you for being part of this journey and my life! Here’s to the year ahead...whatever it may bring. 🥰
