WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO BE
NAIL ARTIST
Most masters face a lot of fears and doubts at the beginning of their journey. The main thing is to understand that this is normal .😊

I was scared and had my doubts when I started, which is why I am writing this post today.🖋️

It is important at the first stage to identify your fears, work through them and begin to move towards work that will bring pleasure every day, not only to you but also to your satisfied clients .

🔸Fear 1 Hurting the clients
This is the most common problem.
The novice nail technician is afraid to do something wrong, to treat a nail the wrong way, to damage the nail plate or to apply gel nail polish unevenly.
- What to do?
Practice more! If you are unsure of your skills, practice on friends or models first and then on your relatives.
On those who don't pay you money and who understand that you are practising.
Do not spare the time and expense to work for free in the period of training.
It's normal, it's a rocking before your financial start. Because for a manicure for money you have to match every cent. As long as you're not ready, practice.

🔸Fear 2 Competition
Don't think about the fact that there are too many craftsmen on the market now. It is better to make sure that you do your work well. And your client will definitely find you.

🔸Fear 3 Communication
Try to get a feel for your client. You don't always have to babble incessantly.
Offer an alternative about watching a film or listening to music. Don't be intrusive, but don't be on your own wavelength either.

The main thing to remember is that experience is the answer to all fears. And most importantly, practice more and be responsible.
😍

I would like to know what fears do you have?😊

THE SPEED TREND
The topic of speed is much debated. Let me say right away that I look at this problem from two perspectives:
Does it HAVE to be done in an hour?
Can I do it in one hour?

An hour is NOT mandatory. You MAY complete a manicure in an hour, if the client:
👉 has familiar hands
👉 hands are not too dry or cracked
👉 short nails with no cracks and good architecture
👉 an even line of cuticles with no breaks
👉 liquid or medium-liquid base
👉camouflage base/color or single color layer

❗️Remodeling, extensions, reshaping, and gel take extra time.

I can do a great monotone in an hour, or I can spend an hour just removing, filing, and cleaning cuticle area. There is no wrong way!

Don't try to cram what you can't cram into an hour, and don't beat yourself up over the fact that you couldn't do it in less than 2 hours.

There are no time standards in nails because clients' hands are DIFFERENT, and a professional master does DIFFERENT tasks for each case.

Would love to hear your opinion about speed.

Why do you need to improve the skills of a nail master?
Advanced training of the master - the right path to professionalism and good earnings. And learning the basics of manicures is just the beginning.

Of course, I will list many factors for which it is necessary to take refresher courses:

✅ New manicure technique
✅ Working with new materials and tools
✅ New trends in manicure
✅ Working through mistakes

❗But most importantly❗
the master raises her confidence and opens up new horizons. This is an opportunity to reasonably increase the prices of your services and be confident in your service quality.
So investing in training is:
🏆an investment in yourself,
🏆in your business,
🏆in your development.
When was the last time you took a refresher course? 😉

What warms the soul of the instructor?
💝💝💝
Of course, the work of the students.🥰 Even yesterday, she couldn't do anything and did not hold the dual forms in her hands.
And then today, bang! 💥 She is already making such beautiful nails.
Flip through the carousel, and see how beautiful it is!

Can you imagine I help people learn a new profession?
✔️They start earning from home.
✔️They can afford to take a client while the kids are in school.
✔️They get to interact with new people.
✔️They get a new hobby.

My courses have an impact on people's lives...
You have no idea how inspiriting that is!!!👏 And motivating❗️

The feedback and students' work make me try even harder. So I recently invented a course for beginners that will help them learn a new profession. It's a very cool, naked course, but it will in future.🔥🔥🔥
I am grateful to every student who has studied with me for their GROWTH. Thank you very much for that.🥰🥰🥰

To be or not to be?
In 1999 I moved to Israel. A new country, a new language.
A NEW LIFE!
Within a month, I started looking for my own nail master.
Nail masters were in every corner.
After several unsuccessful attempts, I thought about a new profession.
With tears in my eyes, I tore off my terrible nails, then decided to go to school to be a nail master.
I spent a long time choosing courses and eventually chose the most expensive and prestigious school.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that the course did not give me anything; a lot of theory and practice is not a word.
Go to college further or give up the idea?
No, no, no, that's not me. If I do something, I have to get a result. THAT'S MY NATURE:)

Already on this experience, I went to study at another school those years, the most famous CND /OLE-HOUSE in Moscow.
I had the most incredible teacher, who invested in me a lot of knowledge and love for nails.

After graduating from manicure school, I did my nails for all my friends, acquaintances, and neighbours.
Word of mouth was working, and I had a complete list of clients after six months.
So began my journey in the nail industry.
By the way, at the time, I didn't speak Hebrew at all.

My work spoke for me!

I prefer using Flame Bit for in E-file manicure and what about you?
What type of bit do you usually us in manicure?

-It’s a diamond bit that is so gentle on the natural nails (means there are no teeth and it’s more of a sandpaper type of grit)
The tapered shape fits so snugly when parallel to the surface of the nail and goes under the dead skin with close to no risk of creating any indents or rings of fire.
-It lifts up all of the dead skin on the cuticle so there is never any question on what you need to nip off of the skin because it does all of the work for you.
-The sharp point is so great for the most detailed cuticle work, especially in those hard-to-get corners.
You can even use this on the skin around the nail to exfoliate dead skin without cutting or hurting your client.

-The sharper point makes you move a little slower because you are more focused on where you are placing it and making sure you’re not going to poke the client, there is no rushing this manicure.
-If you have not pushed the cuticle back properly enough you could risk hurting your client trying to force it with this bit. You have to push the skin back first!
-Be careful cleaning it...you might accidentally drop it down the sink drain .
