I had no idea that Vanisha Breault son, Elijah Malachi Lal, was missing.
Vanisha, I want you to know that your faith, your strength and the work you have done over the years have not gone unseen.
You have helped strengthen others through your faith, and your work for the Kingdom of God has touched lives in ways you may never fully know.
Now, as a mother, I want to stand beside you in the only way I can right now — by keeping Elijah’s face visible and helping this message reach as many people as possible.
I am pinning this post to my Instagram in the hope that someone, somewhere, may recognize Elijah or have information that helps bring him home.
Elijah Malachi Lal was last reported seen around September 24, 2025, near the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre in Calgary, Alberta.

You do not need to understand mining or the stock market to understand why this case matters.
Gold comes out of the ground somewhere.
It passes through companies, refiners and international markets before it becomes something the rest of the world buys and invests in.
And along that chain, organizations have created systems that are supposed to tell the world that gold has been responsibly sourced.
At North Mara in Tanzania, the families of two 23-year-old artisanal miners allege their sons were killed in 2019. Their case is now going to the High Court in London.
They are not simply asking what happened at the mine.
They are asking a much bigger legal question:
If an organization creates a responsible-sourcing system, accredits the refinery, and that accreditation helps gold enter one of the world’s most important gold markets, what responsibility does that organization have when serious human-rights allegations exist further up that supply chain?
The LBMA says the answer is that it is not legally responsible. It says it accredits refiners, not mines; it does not control North Mara or the Tanzanian police; and it says it acted appropriately under its rules and OECD guidance. The High Court will decide the legal issues.
And this is why the case matters beyond two families.
Thirty additional people have brought claims alleging that they or relatives were killed, wounded or tortured in later incidents at North Mara. Some allegations involve children. Those claims have been stayed — put on hold — pending the outcome of the original trial. These remain allegations and have not been determined by the court.
So this is not just about understanding gold.
It is about whether the systems that tell consumers, investors and markets that something is “responsibly sourced” can be held legally accountable for the responsibilities they allegedly assumed.
And Canadians should understand why North Mara matters to us. This involves an international supply chain connected to a major Canadian mining company. The October case is against the LBMA, not Barrick, but it raises questions about how accountability works when mining, refining, accreditation and international markets cross national borders.
Justice is not only about finding out who physically caused harm. It is also about courts determining what legal duties existed throughout the system, whether those duties were breached, and what remedies the law provides when they were.
Two families are bringing the case being tried now.
Thirty additional claims are waiting behind it.
That is why people should be watching what happens in London.

Hi everyone! 💙 I created an Amazon list for my son Mason because many of you ask what he needs, what sizes he wears, or what he would enjoy. He’s lost quite a bit of weight, so his pants are now a Large, while I buy his shirts in 3XL to allow for shrinkage.
I’ll keep the list updated with his current sizes, everyday essentials, favourite things, and items that support his daily life and goals. Items will come off the list as they’re purchased, which should make it easier to know what he still needs. There’s absolutely no expectation to buy anything—this is simply an easy reference for anyone who asks. 💙
