One of the biggest things I see with brows is that tweezing becomes a habit. You start removing a few hairs, then a few more, and before you know it, you’ve been creating the same shape for 10, 15, even 25 years.
At some point, we stop asking, “Is this actually the best shape for me?”

MEET STEPH ✨

Steph is one of the newer faces in the Laura Brows family, and she has one of the coolest backgrounds on our team. She’s an incredibly talented singer with a degree in Performing Arts and Music from the University of Michigan, and years spent studying opera and musical theatre. How often do you get to meet an Opera singer??

That creative background shows up so naturally in her work. Steph has an amazing eye for the tiny details, balance, symmetry and those subtle little adjustments that can completely change the overall result. She’s patient, precise and genuinely loves taking the time to get things just right.

She picked up brow + lash artistry incredibly quickly in training, and we’ve been so impressed watching her talent grow. She has such a calm, thoughtful way about her and a real instinct for enhancing what’s already there rather than overdoing it.

We feel very lucky to have Steph (and her ridiculously good singing voice) as part of the Laura Brows family. She is a beautiful person inside and out and we are excited for you to get to know her as well🤍

A little from Steph:

“I’m born and raised in Calgary, attended the university of Michigan for my undergrad and McGill for my masters.

When I am not at work you can find me at hot yoga, walking my dogs, or doing things with my family. My background is opera and musical theatre, and I love to listen to music on repeat so I can learn every part of it and appreciate the layers.”

A little about me.

I’m Laura brow artist, educator, business owner, wife, and mom to two boys who keep life very full and very fun.

I got my aesthetics license in California in 2008 and eventually found my way to Scottsdale AZ, where I worked in some incredible salons and really started developing my own approach to brows. Even back then, I never loved the idea of following whatever brow happened to be “in.” I became a little obsessed with the tiny details, balance, proportion, bone structure, where a brow should begin and end, and how such small changes can completely change a face.

That obsession eventually became Laura Brows.

I opened the studio in 2016, and what started as my way of doing brows has grown into a team of artists that I’m incredibly proud to have carrying that philosophy forward.

Somewhere along the way, I also spent four years developing what would become Relume Cosmetics, launched another business, had two babies, and learned a whole lot about trying to be a present mom while also being a very involved business owner. 😂

Ten years later, I’m still incredibly particular about brows. I still train our artists in the method I’ve spent years refining. And I still believe the best brow is the one that looks like it belongs to you, not to a trend.

So that’s a little more about me. 🤍

“Are lash lifts damaging to your natural lashes?”

We get asked this all the time. This client has been coming to us consistently for over 2 years for her lash lifts, and her natural lashes are healthy, strong, full and beautiful. She comes every 8–9 weeks for her lift, doesn’t use a growth serum, and uses our lash aftercare twice a day. At around week 4, she comes in for a fresh lash tint, which brings back that beautiful depth and definition and helps keep her lashes looking their best for the entire life of her lift.

She had beautiful results with our previous lash lift system, but since switching to our Korean lash lift system, her results have been next level. We made the switch to our Korean lash lift system because, while Korean lash lifting is newer to the Western beauty industry, these techniques have been developed and refined in Korea for years. The newer systems use innovative formulas and techniques designed to be gentler on the natural lash while still giving us an even more beautiful, effective lift - allowing us to prioritize the health and integrity of your lashes first, without compromising on results.

For me, it’s not just about how beautiful your lashes look the day you leave. I want them to still look healthy and incredible years later. And this is such a beautiful example of that. 2+ years of consistent lifts. Healthy natural lashes. And results that just keep getting better.
