It's Sugartime

I’m helping my kiddos out by posting the epoxy key chains they’ve made. You can either get one of the premade ones or get some custom ones done, you can get something written on it to make it more personal. These are $10 a key chain and would make amazing stocking stuffers.

When we were deciding on placement with this tattoo, my client with out a doubt knew she wanted the semi colon facing her as a reminder of all the strength she has put fourth in her life. All the times she felt like giving up, but didn’t. All the dark places she’s been stuck, but still managed to find some light. We placed this over the areas she use to cut and I think this is something that needs to be discussed more so we can learn and understand. I asked this client if she was okay with me sharing the depth of this tattoo, and then I asked for eduction purpose the reasoning behind cutting. This is what she sent me.

“Sometimes when the emotions are too overwhelming to the point you can’t explain it to anyone and it feels like nobody understand or even hears you begging for help , I would self harm to let out that overwhelming feeling, when things were too peaceful and it scared me or when things were too chaotic to handle , it was a way to let it out without hurting anybody but myself.”

What does the ; represent…..a message of affirmation and solidarity with those who have dealt with su***de, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues.

Remember, we never truly know what people are going through, or have gone through. Be kind, be understanding…it’s really that simple.

I asked this client if I could take her picture right away. This client came to me to try Sugaring because waxing and shaving hurt her skin for weeks after. She said she’s always dealt with sensitive skin and really struggled with the hair removal process. We’ve been sugaring her now for a few months, and I wanted you to see how calm her skin is even while the process is happening and immediately after. Sugaring isn’t pain free, (I’m still pulling hair out, lol) but I can say after doing this for over eight years that very rarely are my clients in pain or uncomfortable after leaving from their procedure. It is calmer on your skin, and it truly is for people with all different skin types. If you haven’t tried sugaring, you truly don’t know what you’re missing.

I miss them every single day and having a piece of them on me, just seems so right.
