All healing comes from God, the Divine. The "healer" is merely the conduit to the Higher Power. Healing is sometimes considered as an art.
My favourite expression is an invocation to Christ: "Show me, Guide me, Heal me." I consider it a gift, a gift that has been given to me by God. I am grateful to be able to use what God gave me to help others live their lives fully and without pain and worry. It doesn't get much better than that.
One of my most passionate causes is Ukrainian Catholic University in L'viv, Ukraine. I want to tell the world about our fundraiser 16 days from today, on October 23. From Law to Leadership: Dr. Nataliya Haletska on Ukraine’s Path to the EU
Calgary Friends of Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) will host Dr. Nataliya Haletska, PhD in Law, as keynote speaker at its 17th Annual Gala Fundraiser, October 23 in Calgary.
Why is this talk important?
The future of Ukraine is at stake, and education is central to its survival. UCU, an independent Catholic university, is preparing future leaders to guide the nation toward membership in the European Union, a step seen as vital for democracy and renewal.
Dr. Haletska, Head of International Cooperation and former chair of UCU’s Master of Law program, is a leading expert on Ukraine’s integration with the EU. She will explain why EU membership is critical and how international partnerships can help secure a just and democratic future.
“European integration for Ukraine is the only way,” says Dr. Haletska. “Under Soviet rule, Ukraine pretended to live by the rule of law. Now we are moving to true European standards.”
The Gala supports scholarships for UCU students, training future leaders in law, governance, and civil society.
