We are hosting a Model Call tomorrow. Ages 4-50 at New Horizon Mall unit I17 at 4 pm. Dress code is black and girls should bring heals. is located at the corner of 8 Avenue and 85 Street inside the mall.

Neveen Dominic Cosmetics is hosting a student hair and makeup competitions during Beauty From the Kingdom of Kush event on February 29th from 10-7 pm at New Horizon Mall.

Qualifications (Proof is required)
1. Students must be enrolled in a high school cosmetology class, took a cosmetology class in high school or will be taking a cosmetology class within this school year.
2. Student is enrolled in a post secondary cosmetology school.
3. Student is an unlicensed cosmetology graduate..
4. If a student is an unregistered aspiring student, he or she has an option to register for the Neveen Dominic Cosmetics’ 12 weeks Hair and Makeup Fundamentals of African Textures and Tones course in order to participate.

This is a one hour live competition in front of a live audience. Students will create a masterpiece inspired by the queens of the Kush*te Empire also known as The Candaces of Meroe. The goal is not to recreate the ancient looks but be inspired by it. A student brief will be given at registration to guide with the looks. Students can compete in one or both categories. First prize is $1000, the title and the trophy. Second prize is $500, the title and the trophy. Third prize is $250, the title and the trophy. There will be a total of 3 winners from each category with the same prizes. All participants will receive a certificate of participation and $50 gift certificate towards Neveen Dominic Cosmetics products.

The launch of NDC hair products will be showcased in a live student competition with cash prizes for top 3 winners plus teophies in both makeup and hair categories.
