I don't know if any of you know about the ongoing war between Anish Kapoor and Stuart Semple (its funny as hell to me and worth looking up if you get bored).
Well, hubby is an artist and bought a container of the world's Pinkest Pink because of this "feud" the two of them are having.

Hubby never quite knew what to do with it so I stole some and made myself some nail polish with it! Ho-ly cow, is it ever pink and I'm sure lovin it! I even got extra creative and added Bubblegum scent to it to make it extra special, cause, why not. 😜

I'm almost thinking of making more and adding it to our inventory, it's just so damn pretty 😍

Sometimes I love having the ability to make all my own stuff, I tell ya!

Slightly long post, but please read:

I haven't posted in a while and for that I apologize. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still around for orders, BUT there will be a few changes in our future.

Truth be told, making bombs is a ton of work and I'm having problems finding the time and funds to do it. Making the Multi colored one (or bomb in a bomb) can take hours to make and then they take days to harden. Becuase of our ever changing weather and humidity, many don't harden and I have a ton of wasted supplies and I have to start all over again. With a full time job, kids, PALS and my own issues, I just don't have time or mental energy to dedicate to Atomic Bombz.

I know this rant is not professional and I don't state it to get pity. I just want to be real with you. That's just who I am as a person. I want you to understand that I have not abandoned Atomic Bombz, I just have too much going on and some days I'm drowning in it all. We all need to admit when it's too much and prioritize ourselves into the mix before we break. I love this company and I love making weird, quality products for you guys, it's just so much work for so little return.

Now, that being said, I'm not down and out yet, but I do have to find a balance.

Imma get on my high horse for a sec and say yes, we have awesome products. We get nothing but praise on our quality, be it lip balm, bath bomb and everything in between. They leave you soft and smooth, they smell great, don't stain the tub, etc, etc. We work very hard to bring you items that pass my ridged standards and I don't want to take that away so...

In the next few weeks, we will be changing things up. Many of the bombs will no longer be sold in bomb form. Instead, they will be sold in bags as a powder. You would still fill the tub as normal, but instead of popping a bomb in, you will sprinkle the powder. The powder is just as fun (I think it's more fun tbh), since it will all go off at once and make the top of the water a crazy cool masterpiece. It'll still be the same ingredients, scent, color etc but it will same me TONS of time and frustration.

It will also benefit you in the sense that you no longer HAVE to waste a full bomb for one bath... You get to choose how much you want to use! Want the full experience, add the whole bag... Just doing a half bath to shave, add a few scoops... You will get to control how deep into the Atomic Bombz rabbit hole you will go!

We may still keep a couple "bombs" around. Moreso the Pumpkin King, Banana Bapple Bubblegum and Kill For Mother. The hand drawn faces are kinda what make them "da bomb" (cheezy pun, I know). We're still discussing which to smash to dust, so we'll see what we decide.

I'm hoping you will be as excited for our new layout as we are. I truly do think you're gonna love it even more. Thank you for supporting us all these years and here's hoping we can keep it going for many more!

Did you know that our, They All Float..., bath bomb is inspired by the yellow balloon from the first (Tim Curry as Pennywise) IT Movie?

Our "yellow balloon" explodes and you end up bathing in a Bubblegum scented "blood" bath!

All good things must come to an end and so now we say goodbye to Calgary Horror Con 2019.

We are always honoured to be a part of it and I thank all of you who came out to support us and for making it so much fun! Without you, my dear horror freaks, we would not exist.

It takes a magical kind of crazy to understand why bathing in "blood" would be appealing, why a bomb wearing a hockey mask would be something you would want in your home, and why you just need to pick up some unicorn poo before you leave! Not many people get our morbid sense of humour, and as proud I am of the quality of our products, most people just don't get why we do what we do, and we are not nearly as popular with most folks as we are with you guys!

It really is you, that keep us alive and well. Keep us striving to think outside the box and you who help inspire us to stay weird (and yes, you who wanted a Freddy inspired bomb... it's been in my head for a while now and because of YOU, I can't wait to make it a reality next year!)

Man, I could go on about how kick ass amazing you guys are, but the need for sleep is prominently upon me so here I will bid you adieu.
