Let’s talk post care for brow lamination (aka brow lammi) 🌻 Most new clients aren’t familiar with how to properly care for their brows following this procedure. As low maintenance as this treatment is, there are some critical things to note after you leave your service.

1. You CANNOT WET your brows for a minimum of 24hrs. This includes SWEAT AND STEAM 💦 Personally, my ideal is 48hrs but that can be a little aggressive for some people and their lifestyle. Essentially, go as long as you can. The reason? Brow lamination restructures the inner proteins of your hair. Coming into contact with water can actually undo the process, revert the shape back to normal and will impact the longevity of your results. Long story short, it’s not ideal so please keep them dry!
2. Don’t sleep on your face 🫣 Following brow lamination, your brows are ultra sensitive to movement. Accidentally rubbing them aggressive or sleeping on them could cause them to set in an undesirable shape (even from when you left the salon). Do your best to be mindful of this.
3. Apply a hydrating product to your brows every evening - this includes (ex. Vaselin, Aquaphore). This will not only help it last longer but will keep them looking perfect for as long as possible! Think of it like using a mask following a chemical treatment (similar to colouring your hair). Your brows are thirsty and will thank you for it 😉
4. Don’t apply makeup for 24hrs following your treatment (mostly because you can’t wash it out anyway)!
5. Above all else, love and enjoy them 🩷

I’ll just start out by saying... this was the BEST wedding season ever. To say I’m blessed to have done all these beautiful gals brows (including those missing - you know who you are!) before their big day is truly an understatement. It was an honour.
