Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and links everything in your body. It’s a continuous, responsive system that helps transmit force, support posture, and coordinate movement.

When fascia becomes restricted from injury, stress, or long-held patterns, it can limit mobility and pull the body out of alignment.

When fascia moves well, the whole body moves well.

Somatic Unwind is an 8-week mindful movement class designed to help you downshift through the body. Expect gentle, guided movement, lots of options, and intentional pauses so your system can actually absorb what you’re doing.

This isn’t a workout.
It’s a weekly practice of reorganization, regulation, and real rest.

You’ll practice:
• slow somatic movement to reorganize patterns of holding
• breath + body awareness for stress relief
• nervous-system-friendly strengthening (without bracing)
• rest + integration (because that’s where change lands)

When I say "lines of tension" to my clients... this is exactly what I'm talking about. It can be very visible in how it shows up posturally, in movement and even just how you hold yourself/level of tension you carry.

I'm seeing a lot of traffic coming by and I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself for anyone new.

(I was on season 2 ep17 of ISAW Podcast if you want to hear me talk a little about what I do and how I work) - shout out guys!

My name is Leanne, I've been a practicing massage therapist (RMT) for 24yrs this year - crazy! My training is clinical massage therapy, specializing in myofascial work - meaning I'm not just here to grease people up and I do not offer 'traditional relaxation massage' like at a spa or on the beach. I am excited to assess your posture, myofasical lines of tension, your movement and hear in depth about your health history and where you're at in your body - to help you feel and function your best, so you can live your best life.

My home-based practice has been on hiatus due to having to move in 2023 and did not have a space I could operate out of to continue for the time being. I do work at The Glencoe Club and still keeping an eye out for a space.

I am working on some things I'm excited about and always happy to hear from you, how you're doing and what you'd like to see happen or how I might be able to help you.
