Not everything you hear on TikTok is a hair care red flag. 🤭 Sometimes the thing you’re scared of is literally the reason we use it.

Let’s talk about it…

1. Smoothing treatments: Smooth hair doesn’t have to mean flat hair! Depending on how much volume you want to keep, we can adjust the formulation and application technique to reduce frizz while maintaining more body and movement.

2. Sulfates: They help remove oil and dirt. They’re not automatically bad for your hair. What matters is the shampoo’s formulation and what YOUR scalp actually needs.

3. Washing daily: If your scalp gets oily quickly, washing every day with the right shampoo can be completely fine. You don’t have to train your scalp to survive an entire week without washing.

4. Silicones: Yes, many of them coat the hair fibre. That’s how they help reduce friction, improve softness and add shine. A coating isn’t automatically a bad thing, girl. 😂

5. Clarifying shampoo: Yes, it removes product buildup, excess oil and residue. That’s its job! How often you need it depends on your hair and scalp.

Moral of the story? Stop letting random hair advice make you scared of everything. 😂
