Massage therapy Lana graduated with honours from Mount Royal College in 2004. She has recently set up her own practice within her home.
Completing the 1100 hour course in Massage Therapy, she has been working full time as a therapist ever since. She has a talent for treatment and is very passionate about her position. You can expect to receive a very thorough and expert massage from Lana. Her expertise embraces many aspects of ingury and rehabilitation, both professional and recreational. She also deals well with MVA and whiplash

GST Exemption for Massage Therapists
New Petition Calling for Action:
Professional associations for massage therapists have advocated for removal of GST for their members for several years.
Now that massage therapists are regulated as health care practitioners in five provinces, the Department of Finance will consider formal requests to grant GST exemption for massage therapists.
The Department of Finance is currently reviewing a GST/HST exemption request for massage therapists. If massage therapists meet the criteria for exemption, the Department will consult with all provincial and territorial massage therapy associations to find out if there is widespread support for exemption.
This is a positive step forward for massage therapists, and we will take an active role in the Department of Finance consultation if the request is approved.
The tax exemption for massage therapist services will fall under the federal Excise Tax Act if approved.
How You Can Support GST Exemption for Massage Therapists:
To support Gst exemption for massage therapists, you could sign the petition recently created by Canadian massage therapists and contact your Member of Parliament regarding the exemption.
