Three years married today 🤍

When we planned our wedding, we told everyone — “think traditional… then go opposite.”

We wanted a day that felt like us — no rules, no pressure, no expectations.
Just meaning.

No wedding party. Only our closest ten friends gathered by the lake. Andrew meeting me halfway down the dock, our dog proudly carrying the rings.

The air was calm, the water still. Pampas swayed instead of florals, and soft blankets waited on every chair as favours. Thanksgiving dinner and desserts (because it’s my favourite holiday) — pumpkin cream cheese cupcakes, apple crumble pie, and candlelight reflecting off the water.

Every choice was intentional — and every detail had a purpose.

Our signs weren’t there because “every wedding needs them.” They guided the flow of our day — grazing table, directions to the dock, personal place cards — each one meant to make our guests feel considered, cared for without saying a word.

Everything looked beautiful because it meant something.

Life update 🌿

After pouring every ounce of love and energy into details.xo in Alberta, we’re entering a season of big change: our family is officially moving back to Ontario this fall! While we’re so excited, the reality of moving across provinces — with a baby in tow — has meant making some hard calls.

To protect our family, our home, and my own well-being, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel all remaining giveaway signage orders as we close out our Calgary chapter.

When the Wedding Fair Godmother gets married, you know it’s going to be next level.✨

Jenna & Chad tied the knot at the Calgary Zoo (yes — with alpacas 😍) and we were lucky enough to have a backstage pass to witness all the magic unfold. From sunshine to a surprise hail storm to literal rainbows — their day had it all.

Jenna, the powerhouse behind .yyc, trusted us to bring something bold and fresh to her signage — nothing that’s been done before. Her only request? Incorporate her wedding colours and make it feel like her. 🌿🌸

We designed a set of arched panels with custom floral decals to welcome guests and guide them through the day — a perfect fit for such a one-of-a-kind celebration.
And here’s the most special part: this was our son’s very first on-site wedding with Mom! At just 24 days old, he joined us among the peacocks and cherry blossoms — and it was the cherry on top of an already unforgettable day. He’ll be helping out in no time. 💛

Just weeks before their wedding, we welcomed our first baby — and Andrea’s patience, kindness, and unwavering support during this wild and wonderful transition meant the absolute world to us. 💕
