After toning with 8A violet base to tone to natural level 6-7. It’s not 100% but getting really close to where I wanted it. Quite happy with results. A mild hue of lavender. In 2 months time from now client will be coming back for blonde highlights. Letting hair health til then.

Without toning dried hair. Better than I thought initially. Very pale copper with gold, under pigmentation yellow-orange. Great base for levels 7-8.

Process 10-20 minutes under the dryer. Quite impressed how it broke down 1 level to orange pigmentation. I was trying this new product out to test the hair to save from a bleach process drying the hair out with a color correction.

Before Vanish product used.

Trying out “Vanish Color Correction”. My client had deposited permanent 5XR over top of bleached hair to get vibrancy 4 months ago. My color line I use is Joico.

Since red pigmentation is very stubborn to stripe out, I thought I would try Vanish. It has no ammonia, bleach nor peroxide used. 2 liquid bonds to mix together, undetected. My goal is to break down the red-orange pigmentation.

Wooded Toenail, fungal thick toenails. Don’t be embarrassed to ask for help! This is someone that is Diabetes needing serious tlc on the toes and feet. Took a good 1.5 hours to reduce and get under control. Carefully cutting and chipping down on the toenail to see the tip of the toe skin. Electric drill to reduce thickness and shape.

This is the after foot care service that took me easily 2 hours to do this foot care service. As you can see this client had pincher toenails that literally pinched her skin underneath the Center part of her toenails. Look at the indentation! A few eagle claws toenails came very close to growing into the skin and getting infected! Imagine the letter “c”, that was the form of her toenails! Ouch! Lots of pressure and pain! With being extremely careful, I used callus softener on the skin with a mini spoon and to remove any dead tissues, debris on the sidewalks of the nails and underneath the toenails with a bright headlight on to see clearly where I would be cutting with my heavy duty large nippers and smaller ingrown nippers. The skin was so tight to the toenail it had to be separated. Reduction of the thickness of the toenails was reduced with an electric nail drill & specialized bits and shaping of the toenails. Unfortunately due to being in the hospital and in Carewest Calgary, I have not seen this client and her husband for a year. A lot of work was done today. I don’t rush through my jobs to make the money. I take my time working through my work while I talk my clients ear off and visit. I talk a lot as I am a hairstylist after all, the more I talk the less likely my clients tense up. Before you know it I am finished.
