A little look at how I fixed my ‘ whoopsie ‘ on a client! Let me tell you… if you are a stylist and don’t have Malibu C | Sustainable & Plant-Based Hair Care CPR treatment on your back bar …. You are missing out on an amazing tool! It is bc of this miracle hair drug I was able to ‘quickly’ fix my clients hair with minimal steps! Full disclosure and shout out to also QOAT Hair … I used this on her original too dark color and after 10 days & her washing it MULTIPLE times… it did NOT budge a whole lot lol yet I was able to strip this color out NO PROBLEM!!! • Thankfully we stripped out just enough color where I was able to just apply a toner all over to tone the blonde and in turn toned down the dark as well. This whole process took about 3 hrs, I came in on my day off to have total focus on her … and boy was it worth it! Thank you Donda Mitchell for being such an amazing client - I appreciate you! ❤️🥰

Bonus points…. What did I get arrested for?!!

We NEED to normalize having conversations with our clients & stylists!!! I have seen way too many videos on TikTok and Insta that are aimed at cancelling stylists bc a client isn’t happy with their hair. This NEEDS TO STOP!! Not only do we have clients bashing stylists in the comment sections BUT there are stylists going after other stylists… like WTF?! I am an open book with my clients, sometimes TOO open lol BUT I will always be open to conversations when something isn’t right with your hair. I WANT you to be happy. Running to social media to bash your stylist before you have even had a conversation gives you NO clout or credibility. I will block you and send you on your way if you decide what I’ve done that isn’t up to your standards constitutes you posting a video BEFORE talking to me… I will also block ANY stylist that goes into a comment section and bashes another stylist … I don’t play those games! We should be supporting each other - constructive criticism is always welcomed however bad mouthing another stylist is not! We all make mistakes, sometimes it’s NOT due to our skills or experience … hair is unpredictable. In this case it was due to a switch of color line ( which every client knows about when they sit in my chair! ) I am ever so grateful to all my clients that reach out to me when they aren’t happy & allow me to adjust whatever has been done … if your stylist doesn’t want to have the conversation … find a new stylist! There are plenty out there. Be an ADULT & have THE TOUGH CONVERSATIONS! Enough with this click bait bu****it! Okay rant over! I’m human and even after 36 yrs I can still slip up but I will ALWAYS have that conversation

Our house just got a little more chaotic 🥴Everyone … I’d like to introduce you to TEDDY! With Lucy not able to play so much anymore it was time to add to our lil family & bring in a lil bro for Joey! He is only 5 months old & the youngest rescue we have ever adopted so this puppy thing is very new to us! No.. we don’t know EXACTLY what breed he is, rescue agency ( Alberta Animal Rescue Crew ) says Pom/mini poodle cross BUT we are thinking more along the line of a Morkie - either way he is cute as button and we love him already! It took Joey about 3 days to warm up to him and realize he was here to stay and NOW… they are best buddies … playing and running around together. We have only had him for 3 weeks and he seems to be settling in quite well. Sooo if I seem a little tired when you are sitting in my chair… I probably haven’t had a good nights sleep in weeks … 😂
