Me & the girls 🩶 This community, the work that I feel blessed to do every day - is nothing without them. The people who continually put their trust in me to guide them through their health & fitness so of course I’d want to have them share my most special day with me.
Strength.
Confidence.
Community.
Independence.
Energy.
A place to belong.
A reminder of what you’re capable of.

The old me would have LOST IT over those 4lbs.
Come home from holiday → step on the scale → immediately decide I need to eat less, do more cardio and “get back on track.”
Except… there was nothing to fix.
I went on holiday. I ate amazing food. I had meals out. I moved my body a ton. I enjoyed myself.
And yes, I came home 4lbs heavier.
So what did I do Monday?
Nothing dramatic.
I actually didn’t even work out.
I rested. I ate my normal meals. Got my protein in. Drank my water. And went about my life.
Tuesday morning?
2lbs down.
Did I lose 2lbs of fat overnight? Obviously not.
Just like I didn’t gain 4lbs of fat on holiday.
And THIS is the part I wish more women understood.
Your weight is going to fluctuate.
Travel. Sodium. More carbs. Less sleep. Restaurant meals. Digestion. Your cycle. Inflammation. All of it can change what you see on the scale.
The goal isn’t to control your body so perfectly that the scale never goes up.
The goal is to build enough trust in yourself that when it DOES, you don’t immediately panic and punish yourself.
No restriction.
No guilt.
No “starting over.”
No trying to earn back the food you ate.
If you’ve built it well - you should just be able to go back to your life.

Lunch in a pinch. Toss it together - heat it up. Smooth, creamy.
Need more carbs - put it all in a tortilla for a great taco.

you aren’t preparing for vacation so you can control yourself on vacation.
You’re preparing so you have more freedom on vacation.
Stronger body = more adventures.
Better cardiovascular fitness = more exploring.
A healthy relationship with food = you can eat the damn lobster roll without guilt.
Consistent habits = missing a workout doesn’t send you into a spiral.
Put in the time before the holiday - and strap in for your best holiday yet 😘

Being busy isn’t the problem.
Travelling isn’t the problem.
Having kids with 47 activities isn’t the problem.
Do these make your life harder than the person who has no job, nannies and has all the time in the world - yes. But this doesn’t make it impossible.
The all-or-nothing mentality that tells you, “Well, I can’t do it like I normally do, so what’s the point?” is the problem.
Every time you make an effort towards that better choice - Your routine WILL change and your standards for taking care of yourself don’t have to.
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
And then go enjoy your damn life. 🤝

Travel fatigue is REAL 😮💨
And when I’m tired, my brain immediately tells me I should probably skip the workout, lay around, eat whenever and “get back to it tomorrow.”
But I’ve learned that the longer I stay out of my normal routine, the harder it is to feel like myself again.
So when I travel, I try to get back to a few basics as soon as I can:
Eat actual meals.
Get some protein in.
Drink my water.
Walk.
Move my body.
Get outside.
Not because I need to be perfectly “on track” on vacation — but because **these are the things that make me feel good enough to actually ENJOY my vacation.**
Travelling and out of routine I usually feel like absolute 💩 before cardio or lifting. Tired and out of body.
After? Suddenly I have 1000 things I want to do, life is beautiful and apparently I can conquer the world 😂
Sometimes resting is exactly what you need.
And sometimes you’re waiting to *feel* energetic enough to move, when moving is the thing that’s going to give you the energy.
**The more you give your body, the more it gives back.** ❤️

Your goals shouldnt disappear while travelling.
The idea is to make them fit your life instead of making your life fit your goals.
