Lash Lord is a provider of premium eyelash extensions, fine waxing, microblading and fibroblasting services.

Founded in 2016, the company strives to innovate the beauty industry with new technologies and techniques while inspiring women in business.

In 2017, Lash Lord launched The Lash Lord Academy. Lead by internationally certified trainer Nicci Van Straaten, the academy focuses on providing a solid foundation for those interested in starting their own career as an eyelash extension technician.

Beginning in 2018, Lash Lord became one the first registered Fribroblast Plasma Lift provider and first Plasma Pen technician in Southern Alberta with LWI. This revolutionary skin tightening “soft surgery” procedure, an alternative to harmful wrinkle removal techniques, is a Lash Lord Exclusive.

Hi everyone, I’m Nicci Van Straaten and I’m so happy that you’ve found us. Since we’re both sharing this time together, I’d love the opportunity to express to you my absolute passion for the beauty industry.

I’ve been a student of beauty for as long as I can remember. As a young girl growing up in South Africa, I can with great fondness recall the magical moment I realized inner beauty burns brightest when outer beauty is allowed to sparkle.

The allure for me began while falling in love with the elegance and artistry of the industry. It would cause the women I looked up to in my hometown to beam with pride and confidence following any number of their fresh eyelash extensions, skin treatments or makeup sessions.

It was this epiphany that pushed me to create one of South Africa’s fastest growing beauty companies. After combining my Bachelors in Business Management with a long list of advanced beauty techniques learned throughout my time in South Africa, Las Vegas, Seattle and Los Angeles, I felt ready to start my new chapter here in Southern Alberta.
