Trust me when I say “Less is BETTER than more”.

This saying is especially most important when it comes to the 1st session on any client.

Because it is their first time getting a tattoo, it is best to be conservative as you can always go darker, fuller and thicker at the touch up rather than being stuck with the very difficult task of taking away if they are unhappy.
