She started with dark brown hair and asked for a lighter brown tone all over.
Colour doesn’t lighten colour 👀✨
To take this client from darker dyed brown to a soft, all-over light brown, we had to get creative. Instead of trying to lift the existing colour (which isn’t possible with color alone), we went in with a full head of highlights to break up the darkness and add dimension 💫
The result? A beautifully blended, lighter brunette that looks like an all-over light brown without compromising the integrity of the hair 🙌
