CHAPTER 36 ✨

Man, 35 was a mixed bag. A little bit of hell, a little bit of heaven.

Some of the highlights:

I did my first Disney Cruise with my favourite people & characters.

Rented a cabin in Manitoulin and had the greatest week with my besties.

Got back into reading! Fell in love with romance novels.

Went on so many hikes, and saw so many deer.

Did a Walt Disney World & Universal Orlando AEP with my bestie.

Lost 27lbs, and started eating better and moving my body more.

Did my first cruise aboard Royal Caribbean.

Got so many amazing tattoos.

Went to Disneyland.

Started having 3 day weekends with the hubs, where we just fully enjoyed each other’s company doing all the things.

Got my first Monstera Albo.

Some of the lows:

We lost our bunny and our husky, and that has been completely devastating.

I didn’t p**p for 6 weeks and that was agonizing.

Multiple hospital visits & scopes.

Had a precancerous polyp in my colon removed. Learned I was extremely rare, and that it wasn’t a good thing lol.

Was awake during my colonoscopy, excuse me?

I got gastritis, and that was excruciating.

It was a beautiful year, but it was also an incredibly hard year. But the thing is, the older I get, the more comfortable I get with who I am. The more comfortable I get with sharing the good, the bad & the ugly. Today I just want to think about all memories I made and the joy that carried me through 35.

I look forward to more peace, more joy, and better health in this next chapter. More steps, more goals, more fun.

8 YEARS! ✨

I missed my anniversary yesterday!

But I want to say thank you for 8 years of picking this girl! 8 years of THB. 8 years of listening to my crazy shenanigans. 8 years of friendship, services, laughter & tears shared amongst so many amazing people.

Even all the ones who don’t see me, who follow along on all my life stories and the every day things.

Thanks for 8 years. It means everything to me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ✨

2025 was truly a mixed bag. But I’m only going to share the highlights!

I went on 6 amazing adventures.

I moved my business home.

I started reading again.

I did 1000 services.

I grew a travel business with my best friend.

Got closer with my husband in our faith.

Started working on my mental and physical health.

Shared so many stories with so many amazing women.

Made new friends.

Did everything I could to make this year great.

I’m so beyond thankful for all of you that follow along on this crazy journey of mine. I hope 2026 brings you everything you dream of. I hope 2025 was the year you pivoted, and 2026 is the year you succeed. I hope you get more joy, more grounding, and more love in this one.

ELYSHA - THE HUMBLED BEAUTY ✨

It’s been a while since I said hi! I kind of live in my stories, and usually forget about the main grid.

A lot has changed this year. After 7.5 years I moved from a commercial space to a basement studio! It was a scary decision, but one I am so happy with. I have been working hard on balance. Which may not be ideal for everyone, but it makes for a better me.

Some other things about me:

🍋 I’ve been happily married for (in 2 days) 11 years. We’ve been together for over 15 years! We met while working at Sears in the Cambridge mall in the fall of 2008. He’s my favourite person.

🍋 Pink is my favourite colour, and you can tell by my studio lol. The funny thing is, I used to hate pink.

🍋 I share the good and the bad, and all the struggles in between. This started as my business page, and transformed into my everything page. I haven’t used my “personal” instagram in years due to this becoming my home.

🍋 I’m tattoo obsessed. I have had two sleeves and most of my legs done in the last 6 years, with plans for many more! 80’s/90’s & Disney are my go to choices. My first tattoo was a tramp stamp, hello millennial baby.

🍋 I’m sarcastic, witty, and I say exactly what I’m thinking.

🍋 I should have been an animated voice actor, my voice is incredibly high pitched lol.

🍋 I love potatoes more than anything. In any form.

🍋 I have ADHD, severe Anxiety & Depression bordering on Bi-Polar Disorder. I always talk about mental health, because I know what it’s like to feel all alone in it.

🍋 I’m a Pisces, and it suits me perfectly lol.

🍋 I’m child-free by choice. I still love kids, I just love my personal time.

🍋 I love a great tv series! Supernatural, The 100, The Walking Dead, GOT, SOA are some of my favourites, just to name a few.

🍋 I love romance novels! Emily Henry, Carley Fortune & Ali Hazelwood are my top choices.

🍋 I’m a follower of Jesus. The non-judgmental kind.

🍋 I am also a Travel Agent specializing in all things Disney, Universal & Cruises with my bestie of 28 years!
