Happy Safe & Healthy Holiday and Merry New Years 2026!!

Jane Frost Foundation 12/17/2025

🐲 πŸŽ„With the holiday season upon us we thought we would share a link if you are a business or individual looking to donate any amount you are able to a worthy and appreciated cause towards breast cancer survivors. You can read more below. Paddles UP! πŸŽ—οΈπŸ’—

πŸ™Œ As some know, Jane Frost of Vancouver, BC was passionate about serving her community. She spent 27 years travelling over the world sharing messages of HOPE to those living with breast cancer.

Here is more background on Jane for the ones who are not aware of what Jane had accomplished with Dr Don McKenzie in regards to dragon boating for survivors.

Her energy as a volunteer activist on behalf of charitable causes was remarkable.

Jane established and presided over the International Breast Cancer Paddling Commission and the Breast Cancer Society.

She was one of the "Originals" - a founding member of Abreast In A Boat. Early on when it was time for the team to disband, Jane refused to put down her paddle, was determined to charge ahead and continue the cause.

The impact of her decision had a profound effect throughout the world. She travelled as far as India, Fiji, Italy, Argentina, New Zealand and beyond with her beloved teammates intent on spreading a message of hope.

She was a champion and mentor to thousands of women, inspiring breast cancer survivors to live proud, healthy lives. Jane received many awards for her charitable efforts.

She was especially honoured to receive the Golden Jubilee Medal from the Queen and one of her personal highlights was paddling the Thames at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

In 2006, Jane was awarded the B.C. Achievement Community Award for her astounding efforts.
