Sorry baby!
Mothers should not be walking around, carrying the shame or guilt on their shoulders of not being able to breastfeed.
There are so many reasons why breast-feeding was harder than it needed to be that left you searching for answers that no one could give you,
But guess what mama?
Most of those aren’t your fault.
Most of the time baby is carrying tension either from how they grew in utero or how they were born, and those things make it hard for baby to open wide enough to latch, or to suck and feed functionally, and most importantly be able to stimulate an empty the breast well enough to truly develop your supply.
Things like forceps being used in delivery, emergency, C-sections, breach delivery, and even baby just been stuck for a good amount of time (limited progress) can all be things that impact baby’s ability to feed in the first few days and weeks.
But it’s discussed as baby being ‘too lazy to latch’ or a positioning issue with mom when baby only latches well on one side.
The sad part is new families are not given enough support to get through these particularly tough periods to continue on to comfortable breastfeeding.
Did you even consider it to be your baby’s fault breastfeeding didn’t work out?

Sorry, not sorry 💁🏼♀️
1️⃣ Both of my feeding journeys included formula.
My first was almost exclusively formula fed, and my second only needed a bit at the beginning. But I feel no shame about that because feeding a baby isn’t a moral test, it’s about nourishment, safety, and what works for the whole family.
2️⃣ I personally hate pumping.
Pumping is a great tool for many families. It is just my lease favourite activity to do and being honest about that doesn’t make me less qualified. Nor does it mean I won’t offer that as an option for you when it’s needed or requested.
3️⃣ I charge for my services.
Lactation support isn’t covered by our healthcare system (and it should be). Until then, my education, experience, and time have value, just like any other healthcare professional.
4️⃣ I hold a mother’s mental health on par with the benefits of breastfeeding.
Because feeding should never come at the cost of a mom’s well being.
This work isn’t about perfection.
It’s about informed choice, realistic support, and meeting families where they are.
👇 If this resonates, you’re in the right place.

Here’s the truth👇
Increasing your milk supply does not depend on junk and sugar.
It DOES depend on these three things:
>how well you are removing milk
>how often your are removing milk
>how well are you supporting your body so it can make more milk.
So if you’re exclusively latching baby, are we feeding often enough? Is baby able to latch and feed effectively?
Exclusive pumpers!: check all your silicone pieces to see if they need to be replaced. Do we need to alter fl**ge size? Is your pump getting old?
Everyone!: When did you last eat? WHAT did you last eat? Have you had any actual water lately (not coffee or tea)? Did you remember to take any vitamins or supplements today?
Check in with these real life things to help improve your milk supply and leave the snacks for snack time.

Let me tell you everything! 👇
Breastfeeding looks and feels easy.. NOW.
But I didn’t no when I first started!
My birth went from beautiful Homebirth to complete sh*tshow with a postpartum hemmorhage and I didn’t think I was going to be able to breastfeed at all.
But because of the prep I put in BEFORE baby was born, I was able to act fast and effectively, avoid the common mistakes new moms make when starting out and I was able to save my milk supply and my entire breastfeeding experience.
If you want to learn more about my story, my practice and how I can help you succeed in breastfeeding no matter what comes, hit that follow button 🫶🏼
