I have had my curls my whole life.
As much as I learned in cosmetology school, it doesn't really prepare you for curly hair.

That didn't work for me so I started looking for more curl education opportunities, including curly centric salons in Toronto and Kitchener, as well as specialist programmes in Toronto, NYC and Chicago.

During my curl education journey I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and realized my hair loss that had been deemed "normal" and "genetic" actually had a reason behind it and it didn't have to be permanent or out of my control. When I looked at options to help me or educate me, I found a program to educate me, not just on the hormone issues, but also topical scalp health issues and how to guide someone in the right direction to resolve or create some relief.

I am not a medical professional, but with my cosmetology and trichology training I can help decipher some of what is or isn't going on at your scalp to help give you the best and healthiest results for your scalp and hair.
