I feel so absolutely grateful that with the help of you booking in chemical appointments with me for the month of October As well as some generous donations from a few clients I was able to raise $550 ($10 from each chemical services plus two client donations) to donate to the Canadian Breast Cancer foundation, This means the absolute world to me to get to send money to help the research for this cause thank you all again

Let’s talk Hair transformations and why most need multiple sessions

When it comes to hair transformations they most likely fall under two main categories which are “virgin first time chemical services” or “colour correction” each has a different approach let me explain

Virgin first time chemical services:
With this we are working with a fully blank canvas (a hairstylists dream!) meaning we are not always sure of how they hair will lift, not all hair with no previous colour will lift/process the same even sometimes when on the same head! This may be why your stylist will mention a starting point to getting to your desired colour to ensure your hair is being taken care of, however this being said sometimes with virgin hair we can get to the final product in one session

Colour corrections:
A colour correction can mean multiple things for one it can mean lifting out years of professional and or box colour to get to a lighter tone it can also be someone who has had blonde for years and is ready to go dark again. You may be able to guess that one of those is a more simple two step process where the other may take up to three four sessions of lightning and stripping out old colour

The truth is we want these to be taken over multiple sessions to help save your hairs integrity no matter what the service is being done your hairs Health is what is most important in my chair!
