Inspired by Indigenous communities and the tradition of cedar-woven baskets filled with wild berries, the Basket of Berries celebrates the sweetness found in seasonal harvests and the teachings carried through generations.

The gift box sleeve features artwork by Jessica Chickite, Ligwilda’xw, We Wai Kai First Nation, whose work reflects deep cultural knowledge, lived experience, and connection to the lands and waters of the Pacific Northwest.

With notes of crisp mountain air, balsam spruce, and red berries, this collection is inspired by the strength found in our ancestral roots and the healing presence of the natural world.

Behind every RavenSong product is a story, a family, and the people who continue to carry those teachings forward. 🖤

RavenSong began with Valerie Lamirande (Sliṉg̱a Jaada, “Creative Girl”), whose artistic spirit and connection to Haida Gwaii shaped the heart of what RavenSong would become. Through scent, texture, and ritual, Valerie created more than soaps and candles. She created a way to share stories, ancestral knowledge, and moments of connection.

Today, that vision continues through Alissa Assu and Cody Assu, who co-founded RavenSong and are carrying the work into its next chapter.

Alissa brings her experience as an Indigenous entrepreneur and community advocate, while Cody leads our artisan soap production, apprenticing under Valerie and learning the craft of cold-process soapmaking. When he isn’t making soap, you’ll often find him carrying on his family’s connection to the sea as skipper of the Haida Girl, a commercial seine vessel passed down through generations.

From land to sea, creativity to craftsmanship, RavenSong continues to be shaped by family, culture, and the teachings that connect us to where we come from.

Named for the season when buck deer begin growing their velvety antlers, it’s also known as the Thunder Moon, inspired by the summer storms of July.

Our Buck Moon Soap and Full Moon Diffuser Oil are infused with a grounding blend of eucalyptus, camphor, and black pepper, thoughtfully chosen to reflect the energy of this moon.

Each Full Moon in our collection carries its own unique fragrance, creating a sensory ritual throughout the lunar year. Because scent is deeply connected to memory and emotion, our hope is that each blend becomes a lasting reminder of the season and the intentions you’ve set.
