The other day I went to drop off a preorder. My gut told me I should double check the address, but I didn't.

Hubby usually does most of the deliveries, but I decided to do this one myself. Turns out I dropped it off at the neighbour's house instead. 🙈

Thankfully, I got it sorted out and went back to make it right. A good reminder to listen to that little voice next time!

A preorder that I finished up last week for one of my regular gals. She has a nice selection right here 😍 Refills are a perfect way to reuse your bottles and jars. The Foot Scrub Bar will keep her feet soft.

Last night I just wanted to sit in the backyard in quietness. I’ll admit, I had no motivation to put all the patio furniture cushions out, so I put enough in place to lay down comfortably 😂 As you can see from the photos.

No scrolling on my cell phone, no reading a book, no coming up with a “to do” list for the next day. Just an evening of staring up at the sky and doing nothing else.

I honestly have a hard time doing this. My mind likes to think about all the things I should be doing. Being productive. But I’m trying to go against how my brain normally thinks and not feel guilty for just relaxing.

I want to slow life down and “just be.” Be okay with doing nothing at times. Some may look at it as being lazy—I look at it as self-care.

In a world that tells us productivity, recognition, working harder, and doing more is what pays off in the long run, I’m choosing to have “just be” moments.
