🍂🌕 HAPPY AUTUMN EQUINOX 🌕🍂

Today feels like a particularly special one.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of spending the equinox here in Gold River, surrounded by towering trees, changing colours and some truly beautiful places like Lupin Falls, Ralph River, and little corners of this area I might have otherwise never seen🌲🍁

And as I sit here reflecting, I’m feeling incredibly grateful.

For new connections.

For new energy.

For the places this little Bertha has taken me.

And for the feeling that I’m stepping into a new chapter of life, one where I’m being much more intentional about the connections I make, the energy I give, and how I experience the world around me.

Lately, life has felt a little surreal. And somehow, the colours of autumn seem to make that feeling even more magical🍂✨

The equinox is such a beautiful reminder to pause, take stock, and make space for what’s coming next.

What a beautiful first day on Quadra🥹💚🚌

Every single person who stepped on board today brought such wonderful conversations, connections and energy✨️ I genuinely feel like I was meant to meet every one of you💫

I may have accidentally stranded myself at the ferry terminal for the evening (my own fault for not checking the schedule🤦‍♀️😂) but honestly, I can’t think of a better place to pause, watch the sunset and reflect on how surreal it is that this little dream of mine gets to take me to such wonderful places and communities🥰🤯

So incredibly grateful for everyone who has welcomed me, those I’ve already met, and those still to come💚

🌿A little reset before the next adventure🌿

I'm officially back from my mini vacation and feeling very grateful for a few days spent exploring Cortes Island for the first time💚

I stayed at Gorge Harbour and, honestly, it was absolutely gorgeous!!!

Between exploring somewhere new, slowing down, spending time in nature and simply not having to be on for a few days, it was exactly the reset I needed🌾

🥤And now I'm heading into another busy season with my cup feeling a little fuller

I talk a lot about self-care through The Beauty Bus, but I think it's important that I walk that talk too🍀

Because while I absolutely love doing the fun stuff, fresh nails, glowing skin, beautiful lashes and all the little things that help us feel put together, I believe beauty and wellness go much deeper than what we see on the outside

🧘‍♀️I like to think of myself as a holistic esthetician.

To me, caring for ourselves isn't just about how we look. It's about making space to rest. Taking a breath. Feeling cared for. Getting outside. Laughing with people we love. Sometimes doing absolutely nothing at all😂

And honestly? I can't show up fully present for the people I care for if I'm constantly pouring from an empty cup.

That is a big part of what The Beauty Bus is about🚌💚

Creating a little space for you to slow down, receive care and reconnect with yourself, while remembering that feeling good on the inside has a funny way of showing up on the outside too✨

So here's to walking the talk, filling our cups and remembering that rest isn't something we have to earn🌱

Now that I'm feeling refreshed, I'm SO excited to head to Quadra this Thursday and share a little of that love and rejuvenation with you all💗💫
