There can be different reasons for irritation or discomfort, which is why proper application, isolation, products, placement, aftercare, and understanding your individual needs all matter.

The first photo is an example of poor lash isolation. When multiple natural lashes are glued together, it can cause:
• Premature shedding
• Twisting and discomfort
• Damage to healthy natural lashes
• Poor retention
• Difficulty for new lashes to grow properly

Every natural lash grows on its own cycle. When they’re bonded together, one lash can pull on another as they grow at different rates, creating unnecessary stress on your natural lashes.

The second photo is my work—a properly isolated 2D volume fan applied to a single natural lash. This allows each lash to grow freely while maintaining the health and integrity of your natural lashes.

This client will be starting a lash rehab journey. 🤍 We’ll be removing the improperly applied extensions and focusing on healthy, correct application to allow her natural lashes to recover while still giving her beautiful results.

Beautiful lashes should never come at the expense of healthy natural lashes.

Healthy lashes = beautiful lashes = better retention. ✨
